- Level Up
Victoria, BC – 2011: An hour long intimate discussion titled “An Insider’s Perspective” providing an insider’s look into all the business dealings that go on in the flash market.
- Full Indie
Vancouver, BC – 2011: A rapid-fire look at the funnier side of developing SteamBirds; a post-mortem compressed into 20 minutes plus jokes. Presented at the Vancouver Full Indie meetup group, twice, to a crowd of 150 people.
- Casual Connect (FGS)
Seattle, WA – 2011: An hour-long talk titled “Keeping yourself Honest in Game Design,” which focused on the trouble developers have being honest with themselves and the mistakes they make (and also doubled as a post-mortem for the SteamBirds franchise – including Mobile, Flash, and Sequel dev).

San Francisco, CA – 2010: Fantastic Contraption post-mortem II (with Colin Northway), a one-hour talk on what made FC so popular.
- Flash Gaming Summit
San Francisco, CA – 2010: Moderated the Flash Monetization Panel (with Colin Northway, Daniel James, Tan Sian Yue, and William Stallwood), a 45 minute panel session covering various experiences with monetizing flash in different ways.
- Global Game Jam
University of British Columbia, BC – 2010: Was a mentor to the GGJ attendees and spoke on a variety of subjects throughout.
- Game Developer’s Conference

Victoria, BC – 2010: Organized and hosted a game jam in my hometown. International attendance with 60 participants; a dozen produced games!

Victoria, BC – 2011: The global game jam event now has a local Victoria venue!
